Ocean Shores, Washington - August, 08\26\ 2013 – “Irish Fever” has been reported in Ocean Shores, Washington. The cause of the fever is believed to be the western United States largest Irish music festival hosted by Galway Bay Irish Restaurant, Pub and Gifts. Symptoms of “Irish Fever” include toe tapping, handclapping and an uncontrollable desire to sing along to songs you don’t know the words to.
2013 will herald the 10th year of the Galway Bay Irish Music Festival, celebrating Irish songs, ballads, players and bands that will be flooding Ocean Shores, WA with music and fun for four days this October. The Festival begins the evening of Thursday, October 24th, 2013 and lasts until Sunday, October 27th, 2013. Headlining this year's festival are the Young Dubliners while featuring Young Wolfe Tones, Molly’s Revenge and Tillers Folly. In addition, an eclectic mix of twenty-five (25) Irish bands, choirs and dancers hailing from throughout the United States, Canada and, of course, Ireland will be rounding out this year’s entertainment.
